Thunder Beast Magnus CB Mount Suppressor

46700004269

Let's cut to the chase-- The MAGNUS is the quietest .30 cal suppressor on the market for everything -- .223's, 6mm's, 6.5mm's, 7mm's, and .30's -- up to .300 Norma Magnum. The only thing quieter is a 338 ULTRA GEN2, which is larger. The MAGNUS-CB shares the same CB series mounts as our Ultra 5, 7, and 9 series, and the Dominus-CB. The Magnus-CB is NOT full-auto rated due to the mount being insufficient. The MAGNUS simply beats every other .30 caliber suppressor on the market today for total, raw, suppression.

Cleaning Notes:
On the MAGNUS and 338 ULTRA, we recommend weighing them every 500 rounds. At this point, if the weight added due to deposited carbon exceeds 1 ounce, we recommend using our cleaning procedure until the suppressor is back to its orginal weight. The GEN2 338 ULTRA and MAGNUS suppressors work by trapping and holding gas which means they gain carbon faster than the GEN1.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Are Suppressors / Silencers legal to own
A: Suppressors/ silencers are legal but are regulated by federal law and on a state-by-state basis by the Nation Firearm Act (NFA) branch of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE). The eight states that currently do not allow individuals to own silencers / supressors are California, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachussetts, New York, New Jersey, and the Rhode Island.

Q: What are the qualifications to purchase a suppressor?
A: Reside in one of the 42 states that currently allow civilian ownership. Be a resident of the United States. Be legally eligible to purchase a firearm. Pass a BATFE background check. Be at least 21 years of age.

Q: What is the application process to purchase a firearm supressor?
A: Our associates will walk you through the process from start to finish with our in store suppressor Form 4 paperwork service which includes; in store fingerprinting, photo and ATF eForms Form 4 submission.

Q: How long does it take to hear back after submitting an application?
A: 180-240 days. For the ATF's current processing times visit the following link: https://www.atf.gov/resource-center/current-processing-times

Q: What does a supressor do; how does it work?
A: A suppressor is a muzzle device that works by dampening the gas that leaves the barrel after each shot. Inside the tube of the suppressor are rings, called baffles, that slow down the gas. When a round is fired normally, the gas leaves the barrel super hot and concentrated, creating a loud report. While a suppressor does reduce some of the sound and muzzle flash, it does not eliminate it completely.
